POEM - The Forest

The hills,

They’re all mine

And I will stray from beaten

Path, into the darkest depths.

I dawdle through scragging sticks,

Tearing at my feeble flesh.

I should not worry

As the land accepts my soul,

That I should lie amongst

The dead, decaying leaves,

Times tendrils take their leave

In the deep deserted wild.
